Chip, The Artist

Fine Art Photos available to purchase for the collector to add to their home, office, or business.

All Photos by Richard (Chip) M. Thomas II, unless otherwise mentioned.

Richard M Thomas II, or Chip as his friends call him, is a native Coloradoan, who is a college administrator by weekday and a nature photographer by weekend. He has lived most of his life in multiple parts in  the state of Colorado.  Chip was born in a small down on the eastern plains of Colorado, grew up in the Denver area, has lived in Northern Colorado, over on the western slope of Colorado, in the central mountains, and has traveled all over “Colorful Colorado” to gather all of these images.

Chip’s passion for photography started when he got his very first “Brownie” camera, which he still has to this day. He grew up on film, but adapted to the digital age very quickly. While Chip has lived in different parts of the country, the mountains of Colorado always call him home.

These new digital camera systems, editing equipment, and the mountains have allowed him to grow his hobby into a passion, which hopefully you will all grow to love as much as he does.

The gallery will constantly change on here, so if you don’t see something that was on here before, please email him on the contact page. It is our hope that you find something on here that you would like to add to your home, office, or business.

Gear: Pentax K1 Mark II, K20D, Assorted Lens, Photoshop, and his blue eyes.
